View Full Version : URGENT: Need help with DM speed cal

installed the speed cal in my car today, but its not working, dipswitch is set right, and everything seems to be installed right. Anyone had this problem? at highway speeds it says i'm going 20mph. need help quickly.

i didnt think that your year needed a speedcal...a tuner can correct speedo for gear change...i might be wrong...check your connections and at the worst, give a call to to customer service.

99+ need the speed cal due to the electronic crap. And I don't think Josh has a Xcal or anything. Double check your wiring with the company tech and also look over on modulardepot for some answers.

98+ need a speedcal and as far as I know the 98's can't be changed in the tune only the 99+.

I have the DMP SpeedCal, and I called them today and spoke with the tech. It seems as though Dallas Mustangs completely changed the codes for the speed cal and i was sent it with the old codes. So he gave me the new code and now the things works just fine, i haven't gotten to pace anyone yet and know how close it is on, but it seems to be pretty close.
