I just got an email, and February 25, 2008, Skybus is going to start flying out of Greensboro, North Carolina to Columbus for $10 each way. You can't drive up here that cheap!

They are also starting service to New York City for $10 out of Columbus on January 6, 2008.

When Jenn and I flew back from KC to Columbus, it was the smoothest flight I have ever been on, I'd fly Skybus again in a minute. Don't ask Jenn how the flight went, she slept the whole way home. :D

damn that would be a $20 dollar flight to New York for me being that Greensboro is only about an hour and 15 minutes from me and where i went to school i could easily leave my car there or have a friend drop me off.

They charge for everything on the flight - food, water, pop, alcohol, oxygen masks (kidding).

They also charge another fee, but when Jenn and I flew to KC from Columbus, it was $100, round trip, that was with taxes and their fees and everything. You can't beat it.

Also, not every seat is sold for $10. There are very few of them per flight. Most seats are higher like closer to $100. Still, it's good for the average consumer.

What about parachutes?

The other fee was for cushioned seats, commercial pilots, rubber tires, and air traffic control radios.

Hmm....even though Greensboro is 3 hours from here, it would still be worth it! Might have to make the Xmas trip a flight not a drive.
