The only thing I would have done differently is painted the brackets themselves black, instead of red to give it a nice contrast. Looks like you painted the pads too?

Hood pins are better than loosing the hood at speed.

I am gonna have to agree with James... that is a little Too much Red, I would have left the bracket black for contrast and taped out the area where the pad is....

But I will say that the red goes well with the black car, did you do this yourself?

Yea i did it myself. Maybe ill take the red paint back off the bracket. i ran outa tape lol

I would just seperate the caliper itself from the bracket, and just scuff the bracket down and paint it black. That would look awesome! I agree the red looks great on the black!

Looks good, BTW, do you work in Montgomery? i occasionally see a mustang like this, not sure about the fascia and hood, but they get onto 275 headed towards loveland/milford sometimes on my way home from work.

make sure you use high temp paint like engine block paint

lol yea i just saw it. Mine used to always fly up when i was driving. hasnt came up once since its been pinned:bigthumb
