ok i finally got all of the parts needed for my custom turbo setup. it is an 04 gt and the turbo is going to sit right in front in between the radiator and motor. i am planning on flipping the factory manifolds facing forward and have the crossover run from that up front. will the factory manifolds work or will i have to buy a set of shorties?

they will work just fine and you can allways step up to headers when you ware ready to make more power.

I thought the headers had to be T-3/T-4 flanged for the turbo?????

If he's going to have the turbo sitting in front of the motor, he will have two crossover pipes connecting together from the manifolds, and that is where the turbo flange will be.

the stockers will be fine for you. but if you can find a set of shorties for cheap get them and cut them up. Then you can do an extension off one header and only have one crossover pipe from the other bank. I'm finishing my kit up and should be done by the end of the year.
