3.73's and auto tranny?

i was reading on another forum that if you want to put a 3.73 ring and pinion in an aod car you have to run a tranny cooler, is this true?

Gears won't make the difference. I think all cars could benfit from a transmission cooler.

I vote 4.10's but on the electronic speedo cars you need a speedcal for that and 3.73's don't.
