Wow How do they keep on course like that?

And it seems like they would run out of fuel muuuch sooner.

They're kept on course with a wire tether. In the beginning of the video, you can see a guy holding the wire. Shortly after that, he jumps onto the platform to get above the wire.

I don't think he was using diesel fuel :)

wow. I always wondered how those things worked and how fast they were.

I have an old, oooold one boxed up somewhere. I believe it belonged to my grandpa and uncles. When my Grandpa passed away my grandma gave it to me. I never really understood how it worked but I still have it. :)

Ahhhh. Hence the title "tether" haha
