what hp are stock rods good for?what do you guys think about these pistons?

would they be good for my setup? i have a holly systemax 2 intake, 42lb injectors, blow through meter, 9lb powerdyne s/c,trickflow twisted wedge heads,stock block,c4 tranny 3200stall, reverse manual valve body, kevlar bands,red clutches, hardened input shaft,aluminum drive shaft and a 3.73 gear, in a lowered full weight 88 gt with upper and lower control arms. how much HP do you think it will have and what should i expect out of at the track? i know i am going to have to go with a 3.55 gear.

stock is good for somthing like 350-400, na. now if you are going with a powerdyne then the best thing would be to hit a machine shop.
you will need to know more about what cam you will be putting into your car also. with out knowing the cam specs. you will not know if your new pistons are going to work with this set up.

Stock pistons will outlast the stock block dont waste your money

Yep...A stock shortblock is live up to ~450rwhp...over that is pushing it. You will break the block before the pistons/rods let go. RPM's kill the stock crank more than HP...keep them under ~6500 an it will live.

Tim, relax, it has returned to a combo question.

The powerdyne is your limiting factor, but I would think low 11's should be easy. Switch to a s-trim and high 10's are possible.
