I havent had alot of time for the mustang lately, I started a new job and the car has sit in the garage for almost a month. Well today I pulled it out for a drive around town.
It started up fine and when I backed it out of the garage it started making a sqeaking sound like a pulley or a belt. When i opened the hood I found it was the AC compresser. It looks like the clutch has come apart. There was metal shaving on the ground right under the AC unit and it got very hot and started to smoke.( the AC compresser) But thats not all! When I pulled it back in the garage I found I have no power steering ether. How is this posible? The car ran great before I put it up and now I lost my AC and power steering from 1 month in a heated garage.
Im so pissed right now. I have been saving money for some mods on the car, now it looks like thats going to fix shit that I cant beleave went out.
Any help or thoughts on this would be great. Thanks

Well the A/C issue can be fixed. They sell compressor rebuild kits pretty cheap, make sure your belts not smoked cuz i probly is.And if you need a new power steering pump, let me know what year.If its a 5.0 i can get you a new pump possibly for free, but i will need your old one.Let me know if i can help.

It mightbe that the beltwas slippingon the P/S pump due to the heat created by the
locking up A/C compressor.

Just a chance.
