How to remove the upper door mouldings??

How can i remove the black painted aluminum door trim on the top side of the door?? i have to replace them on the GT doors i plan to use on my '88 project, i know pop rivets keep them on... and i was lightly tapping on the front side with the mirror off trying to drive them back... got them to move like a quarter of an inch... no more, any suggestions?? thanks!

there is one screw on the end of the door. (the door handle end). You then slide them back about 1/4-1/2" and the lift right off. There are slots with open ends that hold them on.
