From what i have heard Mac long tubes work with them.

I bought a set of unequal shorties from MAC specifically for these heads, I think you can get them from FRPP also...

I think just about any full length will work because of how the primaries come straight out off the head. The issue is with the spark plug angle, so any header where the primaries shoot straight out should work. Most shorties and equal lengths bend almost immediately after coming off the heads. If you look at an FRPP catalog or whatever at the P specific shorties vs. their normal shorties, you can see what i mean.

I'm running regular hooker shorty for standard heads only problem is you must run 90 degree spark plug boots.

Two questions....1 are you absolutely positive you have GT40Ps and not just GT40s? I ask because a friend of mine thought he was getting away with running standard equal lengths with his heads and they ended up being non-P heads...which is how he got away with it. Secondly if they are P's then how do you get the plugs in and out? Or do those headers just come out far enough to clear them?

There P's and the headers clear the plugs a little tight but they clear.

now what are the chances of getting away with running stock '94 headers on P heads?

I think the stock 94 headers have an EGR fitting on one side and the flange where the h pipe hooks up is different too. I don't think both side have the ball and socket on them. Might have to use a 94-95 h pipe.
