Below is the shed the builder/owner built in order to hold his tools while building the house--I hope to replace it with a shop sometime.

http://pic16.picturetrail.com/VOL686/2648057/16799485/295136851.jpg

Though there is no heat in the garage right now--I'm planning it for next year--running a gas line to the corner and putting up a wall mounted unit.

Above the ceiling is a storage unit that is as big as the garage and the breezeway between the garage and house.

Not perfect, yet, but it is better than the unattached single-car that I had previously.

The garage is actually something I am planning to tackle hopefully this year. I need to get new electric out to it, replace the garage doors, drywall and possibly epoxy the floor. I'm hoping to anyway! :bigthumb

This is mine, boat isn't in it right now and the car is more in the center so the doors can be wide open.

Kennebellecobra_ I noticed in another thread that you said the kit was $5500, and from BCI. How long ago did you buy the kit? How big is you building? Insulated at all? Thanks

For anyone else who might be interested, check out WWW.GARAGEJOURNAL.COM there is a ton of nice garages and questions to any answers that you might have.

It was about 4 yrs ago and it's a 30x56 with 12' ceilings. The kit included the trusses, wood, steel, screws. man door. Overall with concrete, doors with openers, heat/ a/c, electric, insulation, 4 quad axle loads of gravel, floor drains, everything came to a little under 14,000 and that was me building it. I have never built anything in my life before this I just bought a book and me and the wife went at it and it turned out great. I'll get some pics of the outside tomarrow.

I'll have to get some before pics of mine as it sits now. I'm hoping to epoxy the floor this spring and by fall have a 4 post lift and a nice big heater hanging from the ceiling. Tired of working in this damn cold garage during winter.
