tw fs nice 86 mercury capri,needs finished

its and 86 capri.metallic silver with gray interior.paint is very nice but does need touch up on front bumper from tapping another car.interior is near perfect,all seats are good and it has a brand new black dash pad in it.it is a 5 speed car and the trans is great in it.no grinds ever.now for a little history on the car.

3 years ago my best friend was driving it home from school when it suddenly quit on him.him and his dad got it home and started working on it trying to figure out what happened.they told me that the wiring harness from the computer to the engine fried.so without me looking at it they decided to go carb with it and got rid of all the fuel injection stuff.after they took all that stuff out they never touched it again and until last month it sat in a nice heated garage for 3 years.

All the car need to be going again is...
carb
fuel pump with nessesary odds and ends
gaskets to put top end of motor back together.

the car has a new double roller timing chain on it.also it has some performance goodies which are....

engine:
1.7 jba roller rockers
1 5/8 mid length headers
edelbrock performer intake
ported e7 heads

drivetrain:
worldclass t-5
centerforce dual friction clutch
8.8 rearend with ford racing 3.55 gears

the wheels on it right now are mustang ten holes with winter tires on them.

not sure on the price.i know what i have in it and i know what its worth.my buddy paid 4200 for it when he bought it.and the only thing different about it now is it needs the carb and other misc stuff on it.the car has a sunroof.after my 86 t-top lx i wouldnt own another t-top lol.i will try to get pics up very soon

well guys i thank you for your interest but the capri will no longer be forsale as the old lady told me i have to keep it lol.i know,sounds weird but what can a guy do.thanks everyone
