Type F is what I was running. Lot of the racers like running John Deere Hydroguard fluid...can stand higher temps and makes the convertor act a few hundred rpm higher stall.

When (if) I ever get mine together, I plan on running the tractor fluid. ;)

My question is..... I have mac 1 3/4"x3" longtubes for a manual. what is the difference in the automatic specific headers? As it is right now, its impossible to get 02 sensors in my car. Their not doing anything anyway because I always run Turbo Blue116. But it would be nice to have them anyway.

Now you are asking a totaly different question. I assume you are carbed now?

No not carbed, but leaded gas kills the 02's and makes it run in closed loop(i think thats what its called) ive been told that my 02's are basically plugs anyway.

Hmm, I don't know about that. Sounds like an engine killer to me. Maybe it does, but I would not trust that.

Im going to confirm this first. but I was told by a really good source that this is true. I really hope I dont have to change my headers. Working around the Transmission is a mother BEEEP! What size tranny cooler lines are you guys running? My tranny has -8 fittings on it. I have a bunch of -8 line laying around too, but it seems a little big. If it wont hurt anything i'll probably go ahead and run it. Just seems like overkill.

My macs cleared my c4 just fine, you can shut your o2's off, since your car was tuned on a wide band (talk to Jeff), I used -6 for my cooler, but -8 should be fine. Why are you running turbo blue? If you have a flip chip, I would get a second tune for 93 octane. You can also add o2 bungs to your headers while their off, put them in a much easier place to remove on the dyno. Have Mark take some pics of my old headers. I used type f in mine.

I tig'd a wideband bung in my x pipe so it is super easy to get to. I dont really know why I run turbo blue, I just like the way it smells, and with my old GT, I had trouble with fumes getting in the car with my turndowns. I started putting race gas in so I would smell good instead of stinky gas fumes. I dont know about you guys but if they made race gas in a calogne, ide buy it!!!

I use Type F. I remember someone asking a guy who runs a 10.5 Outlaw Turbo car what kinda trans fluid he runs and he said "Cheap and Red and change it often" I asked Rl the other day about the o2 sensors being turned on or off and he said that the only real advantage to running in closed loop with the o2 sensors is a couple MPG.
