31 spline axles

I currently have a sn95 rear end set up. I am going to go with 31 spline axles. I know you can use the carrier out of an explorer however can I use the axles also or will that not work?

Is your rearend out of a sn95 car, I think sn95 rears are about 1.5"'s wider. A friend of mine has some factory axles from an explorer, if you find out how long your axles are, I can find out how long the exp. axles are. I know the exp. axles are diff length on either side.
