Hello Friends,

I have recently moved back to the Cincinati area, and I am curious since I have been away for about 4 years, when is the first local area car show, where is it, who can help me with what I have to look forward too. I am a frequent car show goer' so any info will be greatly appreicated.

Thanks,

-Kevin

We (STANGBANGERZ) have our annual Spring cruise-in every April and our annual Fall cruise-in every October. This will be our 6th year! You'll get to meet a lot of people (members of this website), these are our two biggest events of the year. We usually have them at Quaker Steak and Lube in Milford on the east side of town OR the K of C Hall on Blue Rock Road on the west side of town.

We haven't decided where we want to have it at this year, but stay tuned! We'll have a date, time, and location by March (hopefully). :bigthumb

There is a big cruise-in every Friday night in Milford in the summer. I'm not sure exactly when it starts (I want to say May), but there's usually a group of us that go up there and check it out every week.

Quaker Stake also does cruise-ins on a regular basis. I would guess that those will start up once it gets warm.

And like Scott (Moontang) said, he posts up all the car shows he can find.

I was going to mention the Friday night cruise-in, but Gene beat me to it. That is usually a really good time, a lot of nice cars as well as variety. In October there is the Pumpkin Run at the Clermont County fairgrounds. It is for older cars, pre-1972, but a lot of cool cars. There are usually plenty of get togethers and Scott is really good about posting them, so I'm sure you'll be good to go.

The Tri-State Mustang Club (http://www.tristatemustang.com/) does a big show/cruise every summer as well. The date for 2008 isn't set yet, but last year it was the last weekend in July.

Also, I think that FOMF (http://www.fomfracing.com/forums) is planning something for the spring as well, and Craig (Cincy Speed) is plotting something along the lines of Powerfest (http://stangbangerz.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32964&highlight=powerfest) for this summer as well.

Of course, there's the Cavalcade of Customs (http://www.autorama.com/casi/cincinnatti.htm), which is in March this year (moved from the normal January date for some reason). I know at least a few people from FOMF are going to have a display this year.

Sharonville (http://www.sharonvillechamber.com/) has a big car show in the spring. It's the last weekend of April this year. They also do a cruise Thursday nights in the summer.

There are a ton of similar events all over the area during the season.

A lot of the big shows are printed in this calendar http://www.showandshinecalendar.com/. I've picked up one the last two years and it's been handy to find a show or cruise-in when your bored and looking for something to do.
