We are wondering if 28x10.5 tires will fit on a stock 8.8 rear with eibach drag springs, comp eng. adj. shocks, without any clearance issues. Will we have to roll the fender? Or if we decide not to go that tall would 26x10.50's fit better? I am thinking we will be running Weld Drag lights???

Thanks,
Rob

They will fit, but it will take some work. 28's fit lx's easier than gt's, you will need to roll the lips, and beat the hell out of the wheel well. 27's fit a little easier, but if your set on 28's, you can make them work.

I noticed someone had 28x11.50's. Do you know if those to fit ok with a little "massaging"

Yea 26's on 10 holes just go right in, no mod needed. (My kind of thing!)

What size rim are you going to run.

I am guessing 15x8. Any Suggestions???? Such as backspacing etc???

A 15x8 with a 5.5bs will be perfect.:bigthumb

Don't be afraid to run a 15x9 with 6" bs, or 15x10 with 6.5" bs. I run 15x10,6.5bs with 27/10.5/15, it rubs a little in turns. If your running a 10.5 tire, I would run a 9" rim at least (if buying new). I also used to run 26x11.5/ 15's (et streets) that worked great.

I run a 15x8.5" rim with 5" b.s. and a 28x10.5" slick. Had to massage the inner fender wells pretty good and roll the fender lips.

Thanks for the help ib!
Does it rub on the wheel well I guess.
What size wheel with the 26x11.5? 15x10???
I don't need et streets, just slicks. This car will be a bracket only car and of course the trip to Pinks All out.
Sorry for all the questions:dummy:

I am guessing that the local Autozone does not rent a fender roller? I don't really want to spend the dough to use one once. How about a BFH:lol:, will that work or does anyone on here have one to borrow when the time comes???

I used a very meticulously calibrated BFH, and yes 26/11.5's were on 15x10's. I it's solely a bracket car I would def. go 15x10, but that's me.
