After seeing things like this, I'm glad these guys build my engines. Mustangoutlaw should get a kick out of this.

I was hoping to see Greg step outside the box and push it a little bit.

Talking about S- and T-codes were kind of confusing because S-codes were 390s and T-codes were actually a paint code (cardinal red). So the VIN would be 9F05ZXXXXXX and the of course there's the KKXXXX. Still a beautiful car, as are all 69/70 BOSS 9s

The "S" and the "T" codes that he refers to are the two types of Boss nine engines that came in the cars. The cars are still "Z" codes on the VINs. S code motors came in the first early batch of '69 cars and the rest were the T motors.

I thought's what they were talking about but since I had never heard of that, it threw me for a loop

Gregg's full of obscure BOSS429 trivia. He and his dad were involved in the drag racing development of that motor since the beginning. (the Mr. Gasket Gasser era?)

I remember seeing that episode of my clasic car a year or so ago. Very nice car.

I love those cars! I only wish the wimpy sanctioning bodies would have let things go a little more. There could have been more wild engine offerings. I just wish more Boss engines were made.
