Well my family and I got my flu shot back in November and we all wound up sick for three days after it. I'm just fighting off sinus infections lately with all of this crazy weather we've been having.

Check with your local Urgent Care office. That is were Jenn and I get our flu shots every year...were like $15 each.

I am just getting over it. I started with it last Monday morning, and I would say today is the first day I've been "back to normal". It was really bad for 3 days and then I slowly started getting better.

My mom got hit with bronchitis and pneumonia and she's in rough shape, hasn't been out of the house in over a week. There's definitely some nasty stuff going around.

I've done a lot of research on flu shots and vaccinations in general. I'm not sure if most of you are aware, but repeated flu shots have been linked to all sorts of diseases. Scares me. My daughter and I will never have another. Haven't had one in 10yrs, and haven't had the flu either.

I agree, I think flu shots for the vast majority of soceity is completely unnecessary. Sure, if you have a terrible immune system for whatever reason, then that makes sense. But for healthy people to get flu shots every years is just foolish.

I agree Flu shoots are point less but yet again I have a great immune system and havent been sick for about 5-6 yrs. now. Yea the sinus colds every once and a while but thats it......Sorry for all those who are sick, but not getting sick isnt always great either you have to take care of all those who are ;)

For the first time in my life I got a flu shot this year. Mostly because I didn't want to get sick and give it to my young children. Guess what... I've been sick more this year than ever before. I spent 3 straight days in bed and still haven't fully recovered from it nearly 2 weeks later. My lungs are full of crap and I have no energy.

Never had a flu shot, that I know of, and luckily not sick. I've only been sick maybe 3-4 times in my whole life.

I got a work sponser flu shot, got sick from it, was almost fired due to illness.

Never again.

I did have a week of minor aches and just weak with a fever. Might have been the flu, or I'm just getting old.

There is a doctor on a local radio show ( Dr. Merkel ) who is very opposed to the flu shot, he states that flu shots are more likely to give you alzheimers. Also the flu shot only has about 3-4 strains in it, most years there are about 190 or so strains floating around, pretty slim odds. I used to work at GM, they sponsored the flu shot, I never had one, but many people I worked with did, and many got sick after.

no shot, but I have very limited public contact, I haven't been sick since LEAVING SYSCO Foods over three years ago.

While there, if your not dead, your expected to work or risk being fired.

I have had several doctors tell me that the flu shot is from the last years flu that was going around, and this years is completely different, so if you get a flu shot they won't help... i'll i know is i got one 3 years ago and ended up really sick, so never again.
