As stated in the title, it's an upconverting DVD player that takes regular DVDs and upscales them to HD 720p or 1080i. Works VERY well, I just don't need it since my PS3 will do it.
Comes with remote and HDMI cable. (HDMI cables can't be bought in stores for under 40 bucks.) If your tv doesn't do HDMI, I can throw in component and optical cables as well.
