Lowering Coil Springs

What band are a good lowering Coil Spring? Do i go with specific rate or progressive rate? I like the ride of stock spring.

I've always trusted Eibach. Progressive will be more forgiving on the street. Specific will be harsher.

I'll 2nd Eibach but you can't go wrong with H+R though. Maximum Motorsports sell them.

What are you trying to do? Just lower? Street driving. Some dragstrip? Some autocross or track? It makes a difference to tailor your springs to what you want to do.

Just lowering-street driving.I was looking at eibach,ford racing and roush.

H&R, Eibach or Hypercoil.....that's what Roush and Ford use ;) Maximum Motorsports might be your best source. Check with Modular Depot or Paul's Automotive Eng. they can hook you up!

I have the H&R Supersports and love them. Never had a problem with them.

I'm looking at lowering my mustang this winter as well. I'm buying the 5-way Tokico shock and spring package. I can't remember from where but it's on my home computer. I "think" it comes with the Eiback springs. I also think it was around 500.00 for the package. My suggestion is if you lower it to get some cc plates as well. Some will say you don't need them but the reality is anything less is half-ass.
