Finding Skinnys

Ive been hunting all over and the only place that can get them wants almost twice what tire rack online does. Talk about mark up! Anyone know a place local that has them? I used to get Pepboys cheapies for 34 bucks per tire.
Tire discounters wants 70 a piece and tire rack has them for 43. Its almost pissing me off.

Yea, the 165s. Seems like they are made of gold the way these counter guys are talking. Mabbe Ill just buy a pair of front runners for the blue car and use my old ones on the black car.:confused:

Its funny when you call up there.They are like,what are these for,and you say its for a VW bug.And there like oh those are a different size.Or they have no idea what kinda tire it is,and that every tire has an aspect ratio.They are about as sharp as a gummy worm.Ill find some for you.Gimme a minute.

you might try gateway tire out on 747. They supply most of the tires to shops out in Indiana.
