gear gets stuck before 3rd like nothin is there but no grind, do you think this is in my clutch going bad any help would help

Lets start out with the basics.

What year car.
Stock Clutch?
Mods on the car?

Without seeing it I'm guessing maybe a bent shift fork? Bad TO bearing?
Maybe something hitting the shifter. It could be a lot of things.
If it has a after market shifter, one of the shifter stops could have backed out.

89 coupe 5 speed , has short throw and 355 gears almost stock, id say bent shift fork, the car grinded 3rd and 4th be4 it went out

Something stupid that happend to me one time is my short shifter Unbolted it self.....stupid I know but for about 20 minutes I had some very strange issues haha.
