Thanks Bill and everyone else. I had alot of fun today and yes...for now the turbo is staying. This thing is a completely different animal on some sticky tires. We'll see how things progress with more boost down the road...but i'm wayyy happier with it now.

What happened to all the videos of the races?? I know there was atleast 2 cameras down there and they both taped it..Hurry up and post them..I cant wait to see!!!

yep,i was running 12,20's on wore out et streets,went out next weekend with brand new et drags,car went 10,25:eek: with no other change besides tire,remeber turbo is all about tork wich is tire spin,unless it hooks then watch out:cool2: stay at it

yeah just bolting the tires on it...and making a pass in it made me want to stick with the turbo for a little while longer and just see what it'll do. I'm having a few problems with it not wanting to make very much boost. The car only makes 10lbs of boost right now. Thats the way we've been racing it the whole time. I'm wanting to crank it up to around 16-18 with good gas and see what it does. Should be alot of fun forsure!!

Just incase anyone cares...here's a vid of the race that went down. This is the race that was owner/driver. I was in my mustang and the guy that owns the buick was in his. Of course this is on a privately owned airstrip that we had complete permission to race on..This is my car making 10lbs of boost on dragradials. If you go back and watch the video...we left right at about 0:25-26 and the race is over by right around 0:36..I'm figuring my car for right around 12.90s with a good 60'ft!!!

Elvis wont show up to any races!! I retired YouGotJunk and have a new horse now....he's been in training for a while but I think he'll be able to keep up the next time we all get together!! We'll have to get together here soon and head back down there..all I know is ole Whiskey better not of slacked up any or it's not gonna be pretty!!
