First I waited a month for the manual rack now my rims are back ordered. I finally cancel the order and find the rears in stock so I figure I can go ahead and get the rears done and get it on the dyno...And now I found out 325/50/15 mt's are on backorder :bangwall::bangwall::bangwall::bangwall::bangwall: :bangwall::flipoff::flipoff
I think I'm cursed every year I am waiting on something:mad:

Oh boy.......
To All,
Many of you have been asking about the status of the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial tire program. Unfortunately the news s not good, but here is what we know so far:
About mid year last year, there were significant changes made to the DOT specs that guide the testing and production of ET Street Radials. Because of those
New government mandated testing standards, each tire in this series MUST be re-tested, undergoing a full series of stringent tests. Each SKU must pass each test consistently before being released for full production. That standard is proving to be more difficult to achieve on a consistent basis than they would like, resulting in a fine line between making changes to the product to pass the test, without sacrificing the performance of the tire that is the heart of the ET Radial Program.
Currently there are 24 tires affected by this, and 9 have passed and are various stages of production and may be in limited supply until back log has been filled.
Unfortunately. there no real end or timeline that can be adhered to or guaranteed. Each spec has to be tested independently, so they cannot promise any release dates. Each tire must pass each test, independently and once they pass all testing, they are released for full production. I have asked for weekly updates from M/T on the status of each tire and will share any relevant information with everyone as we get it.
In the meantime, we are exploring the possibility of bringing in some Toyo Proxes RA1 / R888 tires to help fill the gap, but there are not a lot of comparable sizes that will help. There is a cross reference available, comparing sizes and compatibility with the M/T tires and equivalent Toyo where available.
I talked to my salesman and he said, the 325s already shipped. So we shall see.

Are the MT's and Toyos really that comparable? Maybe I should start racing on MT's, or selling my used Toyos for drag radials!
