I bought this coupe a little over a year ago, it had over $15k in receipts when I bought it, one of the frame rails was replaced along with a shock tower and the right door skin, the cowl was reworked and channeled so it will not hold water (common rust problem on these). Interior was done a few years back looks good no tears, CD player, nice 6x9's.. The cars a very nice driver but by no means a show car. The car looks nice and gets tons of looks and questions. It is an original 289/c4 car. New front end components, rad, gas tank, and a bunch of other stuff. Since I bought it I rebuilt the rear end, bought an FMS posi and FMS 355 gears, all bearings were replaced. the motor was already 30 over so I bought a set of GT40 Y303 aluminum heads, crower cam, FMS 1.6 roller rockers, hardened pushrods, and upgraded the springs on the heads, new FMS double roller timing gear, edelbrock fuel pump, melling hv oil pump, arp pump shaft, chrome oil pan, edelbrock water pump, edelbrock rpm intake, mallory distributor, mallory coil, FMS wires, chrome alt, chrome brackets, edelbrock valve covers, tuned edelbrock carb, arp head studs......tranny is a c4 rebuilt a few years back with shift kit, AED 2200-2800 stall. Have subframe connectors, new gt hood, new chin spoiler and other spare parts. The motor has a slight knock, belived to be a piston, still holds EXCELLENT oil pressur. The car still runs and drives fine, alot of things were done and replaced before I even got it, like I said theres $15k in receipts plus what I've done. car would need very little to be perfect.
I recently picked up a 351W .30 over with flattops...You can easily swap all the componets over. I also bought a Edelbrock RPM Airgap polished intake and some sheetmetal valve covers...only thing needed to finish the swap is gaskets, dist and head bolts.
Have TONS of pics of the car!
