View Full Version : Jet Ski Race at Edgewater 03/22/08 (Check out the preperation)

Here are the rules-
1. Leave on first bulb. (very important)
2. Boaters license required
3. Life jackets instead of 5 point harnesses
4. No roll cages required
5. No diapers required (gets too droopy and heavy when wet)
6. Keep jet ski in own wake (disqualified for crossing into other persons wake)
7. No excessive swimming in pits.
JUST HAVE FUN!!!!!
We will continue adding water for the next couple of days, track prep should be awesome!!!!!!!!!

God that frickin sucks! I wonder how long it's going to take to get things cleaned up. I hope we'll still be able to hold a UMTR race next weekend but I'm doubting it.

The whole place is going to be covered in mud and twigs and sand and rocks...it's going to suck for a long time after this. I'd say half the season is probably screwed unless they really do something serious.

I agree. Remember 3 Saturdays ago? 50 degrees out, perfect weather, and E20 was closed because they hadn't plowed the track.... after like 3 good days of weather.
It seems like ALL the strips around here are very "hap-hazard" in regards to how they are managed and operated.

I'd guess that Thornhill is under as well.
It takes a lot for the Hill to go under. It's pretty far above river level. I don't know when the last time that place flooded was but I think it was in the 90s.

I thought he deluted it with diesel fuel!!!!! That gallon he buys at the begining of the season lasts the whole year!!!!!!!!! hehehe
