8.8 What to do

Ok so I have as of yet to touch the diff and control arms in the fairmont. I am debaiting on slapping a stock 8.8 with some aftermarket upper/lowers and hopeing for the best OR building a bullit proof set up in the 31 spline variety.

SO what I need is opnions from the fast guys makeing <500hp to the wheels on there thoughts on best diff and best axles.

Also I am looking at ether Upr or team Z upper lowers with sphericals on all four points. Any one have thoughts on ether or sugg on one to check out? I like the Maximum Motorsports adjustable one but damn they are proud of those:(

Oh and we are talking 2500ish with 550ish to the wheels

dude mine had stock axles and 4.10 gears. and over 3 years sprayin it on the track and street.i should have put some 3.55 gears in it.with the tq curve of the BB, i think youll be fine for a while. save your money and buy a built 8.8 or 9" down the road.

Ya I might do that just don't want to be wrong and put it in the wall or something bad.
