I took one of these guys out in a 35 MPH zone. I was changing lanes and he came up behind me doing 110. He was in the hospital for two months. Then I hear all these bikers start bitchin about "start seeing bikes' . Slow your asses down and I might, otherwise I ain't the one going to the hospital. It did screw up my bumper though and I almost spilled my coke, now THAT would have sucked!

Then another guy responded:

Without a doubt, the rider has some skills, but riding like a complete jerk off in HEAVY traffic is just being an irresponsible moron. Riding like that, doing wheelies and splitting cars at those speeds, and dude is living on borrowed time!

Ahh to be a young organ donor in SoCal. I was in LA and viewed a bunch of guys splitting cars right in front of the sherrifs in heavy traffic and none of them even blinked an eye.

LOL I used to be one of those idiots. I realized after re-painting my bike 2 times that it wasnt worth it. I also, aged a little. I do still ride alot, but save the speed for the track.

Lane splitting by motorcycles is permissible but must be done in a safe and prudent manner.
