With the right backspacing rolled fender lips and no quad shocks yes the fit perfect :D

the bigger the tire, the bigger the hammer you'll need.

The backspacing is 6.5"

so i should stick with 8" for ease of use.

I run 9s on my 88 gt and 8.5s on my 86. The 88 doesnt have tail pipes or quads tho. The 86 is rolling with quads and tail pipes but with a 225/70 tire whereas the 88 has 275/60s.

15x10's with 6.5 backspace with 275/50/15 m/t drag radial will fit fine. just need a hammer. no quad shocks, and no tailpipes. Looks good when done.

Yea scratch the prostars, they dont make them in a 4 lug.So I either swap to a five lug or go a different route.I never knew they did not have 4 lug prostars.:o.

There is a company that makes a wheel that looks like a prostar in 4 lug but I can't remember the name of them. It might be prime wheels.

Summit Racing's five spoke drag wheel is available in four lug. www.summitracing.com

Hope this helps.

I looked into the summit and Jegs weld style rims.It seams that they are NOT a shank type wheel, they use an acorn style lugnut and are a little bit heavier than the welds.Im gonna stick with the ponies i have now,and hold off on the rims,im pickin up a nitrous kit sometime this week.

i believe it is bogarts.

It was a cheaper brand of wheels. A guy wanted to trade me a set for the draglites I had.

The 10" wheels can be a pain to make fit right, but when their on they look great. Its a plus to be able to run a bigger tire too.

Yea i want some 10"s to go on there, but every thing came to a screaching halt when some things didnt work out for my wedding coming up.And i have ALOT of money coming out that i dont even have.So im gonna wait for about 2 months before the next big purchase.
