my batterey jus keeps draining its self:eek: i jumped it and took the cables off the terminals and its still runnin so i asume its not the alt anyone had this problem i have the one wire alt witch is giving me problems but iv worked that all out now its jus the battery any info would be cool thanks...:bigthumb

Hook a test light or ammeter between the neg batt post and the cable. You should not see more than 50 milliamp (.050) drain I believe. If you do, start pulling fuses and disconnecting electrical devices until it disappears. I found an alternator shorted internally on a mercedes once. Good luck!

Make sure it is not the Alt. Just stick a meter between the 1 wire output and the neg side of the bat. You should see <12vdc

The meter is the best way to find it, but alot of the time it end up being the light in the sun visor staying on for fox bodies.
