Just wanted to remind you all that SP1 is all ready out!

Fixes network copy issues and a host of other stuff.

You can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B0C7136D-5EBB-413B-89C9-CB3D06D12674&displaylang=en

Does it fix the ridiculous folder problems where you have media stored if you have Nero installed on your computer, is it SLI compatible yet? Man, what a turd!

Blah blah blah! Excepting the Netowrk File Copy issues, vista kicks major ass in this nerds oppinion.

I love it too! I have it on my laptop and I am learning it in computer class, It took some getting used to over XP but its a whole world better in my opinion

Except for the MASSIVE amount of resources it uses, it's great! NOT!

Anyone seen my Leopard? ;)

i would wait a few months to let them get the bugs out of it.

I'll never go back to a windows machine.

The only use I have for a windows machine is to data log my car. Other than that I won't out any more money in Bill Gates' pockets for inferior products than I absolutely have to. I hated having to buy Office for Mac.

I have XP and I love it. I have the upgrade to Vista home preimum, but I don't have the guts to load it. My next machine will probably be a Mac.

It is not resource intensive by todays standards.

If you have a 3 year old computer, than it is "Intensive".

I will say though, over half of my 4 gigs of ram are in use when the machine is idling on the desktop.

That nerd must not have used Linux for a desktop :flipoff:

I run Slackware 9.1

FYI- Ubuntoo (sp wtf ever it is) is 50x more resource intensive than Vista OR leopard. And....it just took like 6 tries to spell leopard correctly. lol

I went to load the sp1 and it said it would take an estimated 17 hours. Guess I'll be getting the disc.
