O.k. so right now I am running a F cam and I beleive its killing my times and performace on motor. I do spray the car at the track occasionally but I run the car on motor more than I do spray. So I want to stick with a Ford Racing cam but not sure what's going to really wake the car up throughout the whole power band. What I have right now is as follows

89 302 stock bottom end
Edelbrock 5.0 performer upper and lower
GT40P heads with comp cam springs good to .560 lift.
24# injectors
75MM TB
73MM C&L MAF
Mac CAI

A lot of people like the F cam, but I personally have a Trick Flow Stage 1 cam, which people say are very similar. I like it a lot and would highly recommend it. As far as your situation goes, I don't think you are going to see a significant increase in power unless you switch to a custom cam.

I don't think it would be worth his time or money to do the swap.... Wouldn't get much of a gain if any...?

Not sure how much a custom grind would cost but funds are limited. I talked to Ford Racing and found thats like talking to Microsoft Tech support. I spoke with two differn't gentlemen and they both told me something differn't. One said to go with a E cam and advance it 2 degrees and the other said to go with a B cam and install it straight up and I wont beleive how much the car picks up. So now that just adds more confusion to the mix. Cams aren't cheap and its not quick to install just to be saying well try this one and if you dont get what your looking for pull it out and try something else. Thats what Ford Racing more less told me.

The only FMS alphabet cam bigger than the F is the X...and it's not that much bigger. I would look into the comp cams line (something like a XE270HR).

Port the heads or get different ones if you want to wake it up, I went 11's on motor with an F cam. The perfect cam won't pick you up much HP unless your motor can breathe. Good luck!

I agree, if you swap cams, you"ll eventually want bigger heads, then a bigger cam, then bigger, uh, you get the point. If you can pick up a set of vic. jr.'s and a tfs r or systemmaxx intake, that bitch will scream to 6600 and get down.

Yea i dont think the TFS1-2 or any alphabet cam will help you here. You need a split duration cam that favors exhaust side if anything.Your stuffing more in there,so you need to get it out.
