What should I do before I get it done? It's for a carb h/c/i.

I would highly recommend getting a wideband O2 sensor. It will make tuning the car for driveability alot easier and more accurate. You can acutally see what it is doing and idle, part and full throttle and make adjustment accordingly.

You can have a tune done with one but carbs are sensitive to temp changes and you may need to make jet changes throughout the year. Having your own will allow you to keep an eye on the tune at all times not for the couple hours you have it on the dyno. Plus if you were to install one before the dyno you can get the tune very close before you get there so all you many really need to do is play with timing and maybe a couple tweaks to the carb. So it may help pay for itself only having to make a few dyno pulls rather than quite a few trying to get the tune spot on.
