Timing Cover compatability

Does anyone now about what timing covers will fit what blocks. I have a Teskid block (MK VIII), and want to use SOHC heads (silly, but I have my reasons). Will a SOHC timing cover work in a 4v blovk if using th correct heads?

as far as I know yes it will. heads are the key.

Dirty dog, one more question (if you happen to know the answer). Since I am going with SOHC heads, I can use the SOHC accessory brackets and belt, correct?

Yes, use the timing covers off the engine you are replacing, along with the timing chain guides and tensioners. I do a lot of teksid engine combos. Those blocks are insane strong.
