Who all are going to the Rod Run?

I am headed out tomorrow and will be there through the Rod Run weekend. Got to get some beads before I go though. lol. just wondering who all's going?

For those who don't know it's in Pigeon Forge TN and there are expected to be over 300,000 cars rolling through. There will be any car you can think of down there. And did I mention the boobies?..lol. Lot's of fun!

Ive been before. Great time! One car sticks out in my mind, mid-late 80's Jag, 871 blown BBC, caged/tubbed, parachutes and on the ground.

Not just cars. I saw a boat too last time I went...t was on a lifter 4x4 truck chassis but it was still a boat.

I saw that as well last time I was there... I used to go every year, but haven't been in about 4-5 yrs... There's some crazy stuff down there.. Great time though. :bigthumb

Event officially starts Thursday and runs thru Saturday.

Over the years I have seen some crazy stuff.

A Suzuki Samurai with a Chevy big block, the radiator was mounted in front of the grill.:lol:

Chevy truck with a hot tub in the bed, it also blew bubbles.

The boat of course.

One year a chevy dually did a burnout right into the back of a nice mustang, I would have kicked the truck driver square in the nuts.

It's always fun, you never know what you might see.

Man...Me and the old lady really want to go, but were not going to be able to afford it this year. :( Oh well, maybe we'll make the fall Rod Run.

I'm here and there are already alot of cars out. Looks like everyone is coming early this year. I will post some pics.
