I quit listening to what he had to say months ago. They aren't going to cut him and he will play. He might get a rude greeting in camp though from his fellow players. Someone just needs to sock his ass in the mouth.
Corey Dillon was hurt the year Rudy got to play. Corey Dillon has 10000 yards rushing and did that with shitty QB's and shitty WR's. When Corey Dillon was here he was THE Bengals. Rudy has benefited from Carson Palmer and TJ and Chad. He won't get close to 10000 yards and I bet he's gone in two years. He doesn't hit the hole hard anymore he's too busy dancing. Kenny Watson, if he could hold on to the ball, would be the #1 running back on this team. Rudy had a great couple of years and that's about it.

If we trade him the Bengals take like a 8 million dollar cap hit. They dont want to do that. Chad new about this when he signed his new contract a few years ago. If he hated the bengals so much, he shouldnt of signed a long term deal. This all started with Chad signed that weisel sports agent Drew Rosenhaus.
Dont trade chad, let him rot on the bench and wasted the prime playing years of his life.

Yeah I think he is jealous of TJ, it just seemed like all of the sudden he hates the Bengals. He has no respect for the fans of Cincinnati either. When everyone was showing him all the love, now he's turning his back on us. I've always loved TJ also, I think he's more of a team player. I just wish the Bengals would release a statement or something about what the hell is going on!
Oh and I think Kenny Watson is great and I've always liked Rudi, but I'm hoping Cincy picks up Darren McFadden in the draft, I'd be psyched!!!!!

TJ did not take the #1 spot IMO.... You tell me how many times they double team TJ and not Chad? I agree, his attitude at the moment is not the best, and I like his "show boat" act as some of you call it. People arent bitching after he scores a touchdown, now are they? It doesnt matter if you like it or not, the guy is one of the best WR's in the league, if not the best.
As far as Rudi goes, I say we cut him. He is trying to lose weight to become a quick, around the corner RB, where as his initial role was the bruiser, up the middle. And he couldn't match up to Dillon if Rudi was on his best day and Corey was on hs worst....

This is all about money guys and gals. Do I like his arrogent rantings...no...do I think he truly means 100% of what he says.....no. This is all a business ploy. TJ was and has been the go to guy for the last year and a half. He is the possesion receiver the guy who will catch the ball when you need it most. Chad no longer goes across the middle with confidence, and if you look at TJ he has started to get hesitant also. Punishing blows will make any receiver leary of sprinting across the middle. The Bengals are in a bad situation with the financial hit they would take in a trade. He will play, he will catch the ball, at some point during this year many of you will cheer for him again, yes it sucks but its the way of the game now with player attitudes and big dollar owners. As far as Rudi, I am a big fan but he has lost more than a step in the past two years. He will be replaced before the years out in my opinion. Anybody see him on Cribs? Who was that guy...anyway? Strange to see how he acts outside of football.

I am going to have to completely disagree with you here.... Chad is, and has always been the go to guy. TJ's job is to catch the ball when Chad is being double teamed and can't get open. Although TJ is a good receiver, he still falls short of Chads talent.

What team are you watching? How many bone head mistakes did Chad make last year? Too many. A go to guy is the one getting the catches (TJ) on third and nine which is the Bengals average the past few seasons. He has not been the alternate receiver or second read he is the first read on those drive stretching plays. Dont get me wrong Chad is one of the top ten in the league but if Im fielding a team TJ gets picked first. Chads output has suffered and his decisions on and off the field have hurt him.
BigB96
04-18-2008, 12:11 AM
You know what would hurt him the most? Make him play and dont give him the ball. (that will give him something to cry about) More than likely he will be doubled up because of his speed. Alternatly, freeing up T.J and (or) a TE. Much like last season.lol.. He will be contributing whether he likes it or not..:Its a win, win people!:flipoff:

Chad Johnson is dead to me.
I'm tired of it. I'm glad Marvin is standing his ground in one breath but in the other I wish we'd just trade his ass off. I totally 100% love my Bengals but man is it frustrating.
I'm just hoping Rudi/Irons/Perry can between the three manage to be somewhat healthy. Perry is a walking injury report but man can he make a difference when he's in.
I'm hoping Chinny continues to play great, Odell/Ahmad can stay healthy and come back from the lack of recent PT. Hopefully Sedric Ellis falls to us in the draft.
If things fall right, dare I say, our defense might not suck.

Totally agree on that. Also agree TJ is the go to guy on third down. And as someone said earlier the #1 WR, #2 WR is that in name only. Each of those guys is the number one read for Carson on certain downs and yards to go. It's semantics.

T.J. is good because C.J. is great. C.J. is one of the top 3 recievers in the league.
I wouldnt go as far as saying he is better than T.O. or a Randy moss, but he would be the number 3 imo.
By the way, I despise the bengals. I am a cowboys fan all the way. Guess we will se later this year, as the two teams play.

Fuck Chad.....he's doing nothing to help his cause.
Don't trade him....he signed a contract and he should have to keep his end of the deal.
If he doesn't show up, charge his ass the $14k/day worth of fines that they're allowed.
If he does show up, treat him like any other receiver and make him earn his spot.
NaomiDstangLvr
04-23-2008, 01:06 PM
Well from my understanding, their saying Chad is going broke and is wanting to renegotiate his contract for more money. So basically if he doesn't get traded, which I HIGHLY DOUBT HE WILL, he's going to HAVE to play, he can't afford all the penalties he would get for each game he'd sit out. And after seeing Marvin in the press conference yesterday, he's telling Chad, go ahead sit out, the team will go ahead without you. So he's pretty much daring him, lol! I'm finding it quite comical. Did anyone see the interview on ESPN where their asking him pretty much why he wants out? He couldn't give one reason why. So lame.

I might be a Bengals fan, but I'm also a football fan, I'll admit it when there's great players that make big plays. Like, I love the Colts, my #2 favorite, #3 the Packers....Good point! :bigthumb

We all know there's assholes everywhere, so we really shouldn't sterotype each other's fans.
It just sucks (for EVERYBODY) when people take Games (any kind of Competition) too PERSONAL and want to start fighting.
It's different when there's more serious things at stake. (lives, money, property etc...).
I just wish more NFL "fans" would be more like fst 5pto. We can talk NFL SMACK talk and still act like civilized human beings. :cool2:
Whoever said I was civilized?

I thought the Bengals blew it a long time ago. I still don't see how they waited so long to finally stand up to all these stupid black players on the team. How many DUI's, Weapons Charges, Assaults so no and so no do they need before they are off the team. I never, ever like Chad, he always discussed me with his big mouth and way to eager ego. I could care less if he plays the game well or not...he's plain stupid. And will just be another broke black man after the NFL is threw with him, and all his so called hommies have milked the last money from his account. The head coach, Marvin also is on my bad list. For a NFL coach he is just to lacks and UN sure. If he would have stepped up early on when all the trouble started and simply fired the first idiot, there would have been much less problems. But as it is, he lets it go till the NFL commissioner steps in, then hes all for punishment, what a woos. Professional players, from all leagues, must live in a different world, or maybe it's the drugs they use. Who in there right mind would scuff at 10-15- or 20 million dollars a years, to play a sport!!! I will never support a professional sport with my money, it has gotten out of control and whats even funnier is the stupid Fans. What would make someone give their hard earned cash to see a game or even where a shirt with a player on it.....The disparity between the two salaries is distressing. Here is one guy that works every day and all the OT he can, if he's lucky he brings home 40-50 thousand a year and from that he has to provide for the family. The other guy gets 15 million everything he does is a right off, and all he does is play a stupid game once a week for 16 weeks. Yes he has to keep in shape...but doesn't everyone. This jerk makes more in one hour then the average guy will in 6 ,months, where is the reality line here. What makes these guys think they are worth so much, and the average guy so little?? When will people come back to reality and demand more for there services??

I'd have to say Pittsburgh has some of the most loyal fans. They stick with their team no matter what. They are the most annoying though.

SHIT I'm glad my office door was shut.
One thing to keep in mind though Ynot, the players are paid that much because of the market. If nobody gave a crap about football(like soccer) then they wouldn't make diddly.

BTW how little minded you are, yes I think they entirely WAY too much money, but its their profession. I support the Bengals, I might get fed up with them at times, and yes I agree, they should have parted ways with these troubled players right away when they get into trouble. Thats one thing I've never understand about these guys, make all this money, then blow it getting into trouble with the law. And as for Chad, he's one of the best receivers in the NFL hands down, but he's always had a big mouth, (even though he was pretty quite last season) he needs to just quit crying and play ball.
I just think its so sad when people have to bring up racial remarks regarding professional players...

I remember back in the mid 70s, my Grandparents (German citizens) came over to here to visit. My grandfather spent a lot of time listening to "Football" (soccer) games on my dad's shortwave radio. He was "really" into it!
The European's stake their National Pride on their country's Football (soccer) teams! Now THEY take is PERSONALLY over there!!!!!!!
Just imagine if we had RIOTS going on in NFL stadiums across the country going on here !!!!!!!
Now THAT is serious shit!
