I am running a stock block, but has all the normal machine work done.
Running a DSS Main girdle, forged connecting rods/pistons.

Will be making aprox 10lbs of meth cooled boost.

Will the valley girdle help me in my ultimate quest of not splitting the block, or, will it simply hold the 2 sides together when it does split.

My theory is that by connecting all sides of the valley you lessen vibrations and equally translate & distribute any twists. Thoughts please.

Please give your expert opinions. :)

Waste of $$$ IMO, buy it if it makes you feel better.

A complete waste of money you have a huge valley girdle that your upper intake bolts to

Combined with the stud girdle clean up should be a breeze.

Ya....I consider it metal snake oil. Do a search on the corral about it....many threads about it. Save the money for a good block.
