Edgewater Track Conditions!

I heard the track was in terrible shape does anyone have any recent info since they put the tar down all over it.

As of last weekend your slicks will come out looking like radials. This is based on what I saw of a set of tires on Monday... not sure what they have done this week.

My friend has been work down at the track for the last week helping out and he said they got the right lane pretty good they smoothed out both lanes and have been drag it and spraying it and are going to spray alot tomorow . Were going to go down and give it a try with forcasted for rain on sat

I've talked to some guys that ran up there this week (granted they're big tire racecars) but they were in love with the track. Said it's hooking awesome in both lanes... Apparently it'll still get the tires a little bit but I'm sure that's about done.

Whenever I get off my ass and get a physical I'll go up there to get my license.

My buddy had good luck in the pit lane for Fridays t&t. His car is a mid 9 second Camaro on 10" slicks. His best 60 was on the tower side, but he got a little crossed up 100 ft out twice.
