My stock tires were 165| -13 I'm trying to find some tires to fit on my new rims that are relatively close in tire height. (no 4x4)

I think 225|50-16 would work. That is still taller than original, but I think that is the best I'm going to do.

I'm trying to find some sticky tires, too. Anyone know of some good rubber made around that size range?

And thirdly, does anyone make an aftermarket '05 Mustang V6 oem-style wheel that is wider? (Probably not...) One of the guys got a set of 295s under his without much trouble (rolled fenders).

Well, I slapped my 215|45R17 wheel from my daily driver on the car and it has considerably more clearance than the current 215|65R16. Here's what I think I'm going to go with:

Options:
BFG T/A KDW 2 - 205/40ZR16 - $123 / 225/45ZR16 - $145

I stuck a set of 245-50-16 on a set of ponies.Looked pretty good. They were a challenge to get on.

Nice. Nitto's website says their NT555R will fit the 7.5" rim... *drool*

I'd like to get those and NT555 on the fronts. I wonder how they compare to the KDWs.

ETA:
Biggest the Pinto guys have put on are 295s but they had to roll their fenders (without tubbing). :D

I'm not sure how the suspension is set up on theirs, but I know my 225s rubbed (leaf springs) when I had my 16" snowflake wheels on.
