I have a 95 mustang GT with a Cobra upper.Lower intake 24lb fuel injectors it has a cam not sure what it is supposed to have speedpro pistons not sure about crank or anything it has underdrive pulleys 75 mm throttle body and a mass air not sure what sixe fulle exhaust and aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and 4:10 gears .

PROBLEM: the problem I am having is that the car surges and has a high idle around 1100 most of the time but if I rev up or push the clutch in the rpms go up and on the way down it stays at about 1600 for 8 plus sec and does the same thing when coming to a stop sign I will push the clutch in it will stay a 1600 until I come to a stop and it sits for about 8 sec I changed the idle air in the car with one direct from ford had the Tps checked and was at about .89 they couldntjustmove the tps to get the voltage to .98 they had to turn the screw that the throttle linkage touches to get is with in range but still did nothing for the car is still surges and idles the same way I was told by a place they could burn a chip to fix it but I was told to just have it professionally tuned and that should take care of it and my question is can this be fixed with a tune good tune my guess was that the car was never tuned right. This has been very frustrating to me and would like to get it fixed.
