Tire question

My drag radials are spent and I'm shopping for new tires...

I had 275/40-17 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials on 17"x9" wheels...

Can I mount a 26-11.50-17 Mickey Thompson ET Street on the same wheel?

You should be fine using the ET streets on the same rim. MT seems to measure ET streets funny...they list them as a 11.5" tire..but the listed "tread" width is only 9.5".

Cool thanks Jeff! I just got off the phone with MT to verify, then went up front to order... should be here by the weekend!

Mounted them up today (thanks Matt J)... they looked huge off the wheel, but once on they are narrower and taller with 25 psi in them. That will change a bit with 8-12 psi in them.
