What friends i have!!!!!!!!!!!

My "best friend" who i've known for 17 years , since i was 10 happens to have a motor i need...now let me set this up....if you have read the newbies section i am the one who blew his motor......racing ( i know ) ....the sad part is i beat his ass ( 30th anniv. camaro ) and he whined and cried until i would race him again, so after we ran the first time and was doing a few donuts and quite a few burnouts my motor let go....now he has a pretty nice motor -.30/over ,some head work, flat-top pistons, little cam, nothing special but turned low 13's on 3:55's...just sitting in his damn garage ( i know what your thinking ...hes gonna use it..) nope totally done away with fords for some reason..he now owns a 30th anniv. ,newer silverado, and a jeep liberty........but this motor has been sitting for 3 god-damn years, and i blew mine up racing him!!!! ( atleast he had the truck to tow me back home :bigthumb ) i mean come on help a buddy out huh?????????

no hes not a member....he used to be nothing but a mustang guy...hes actually had more than me.....i talked to him this morning and he said hes thinking about a price , but it ( the motor ) would be sold without the intake ( upper and lower ) and without the whole front end ( alt., water pump etc.. ) ......so we'll see...kinda sucks because i have everything to go on it from mine , but i always like to have spare parts laying around

yea i remember back in the day before we started building our cars up...we would take a stock stang with nothing but flowmasters and a set of gears and smoke us some camaros....they would always come with your running a 4:10 gear is the only reason you beat me..........ummmmm hello buddy you got the LT1 350 ( or LS1 ) against my little 'ol 302.....i've always said let mustangs come back out with 351's and we can show chevy where to stick it

Sorry...maybe I missed something, but I don't see where your friend wows you anything. It's his engine and his decision to keep it or sell it. It's not his fault YOU blew-up your old engine.

See how much a motor thats comparible would cost and offer him that much. Maybe he doesnt know how to price it to you seeing as your friends. Selling to friends and family is always a touchy subject because you normally lose money as they'll expect it for really cheap and with a life time waranty.

I hate selling shit to friends. You always lose money because you want to give them a good "friendly" deal, and then when something happens to the thing 10 years down the line you screwed them over anyway.
