wires on a 86

i took to f.i off my 86 and went carb now i have the miles of wire still on the firewall i unhookd the injector wires but its still 20 miles of wire there where do i disconnet these at or am i stuck with them on my firewall?

At the ECU, in the passenger side kick panel. You can pull the harness through the firewall.

Dont those cars use the ecu to control the alt and some other accesories?
