Ok, so, we were driving through Kentucky, on our way to Kentucky Speed & Performance yesterday (yes, we didn't know at the time their closed weekends) as we were on the highway right after Turkeyfoot exit, I was looking down at my Sidekick then all the sudden felt and heard this "THUD!" I look up and see this thing flying over and almost hitting another car besides us and ending up laying on the shoulder. I was like "WTF WAS THAT?!?" Chad was like, "we just hit a wild turkey". "WHAT?!?" A wild turkey? So we end up pulling over, the hood on our Explorer is bent up, our bug guard broken, the headlight broken, paint cracked and missing. SHIT!!!!!! So to say the least, I've been giving Chad hell about hitting a wild turkey right at the Turkeyfoot exit! LOL!!!! So just our luck! Some pics...

That sucks. Its hard to believe that a turkey messed up your vehicle more than a deer did my mach.

I almost hit a turkey on Turkeyfoot recently. It just ran all the way across the road.

A turkey crossed just in front of me on Independence Station road near Cody road. I've seen alot of them this spring. Few weekends ago I drove down to western KY near Kentucky Lake....I saw ~6 dead on the side of the road from being hit.

Turkeys can't fly. Jeez, haven't you ever seen wkrp in cincinnati where Les nesman dropped turkeys from a chopper on thanksgiving??...lol

That has got to be one of my all time favorite ones!!

Glad it wasn't worse!! But too funny hit a wild turkey at turkey foot exit !! :cool1:

Those things are all over the place down here, 2 of them were in my front yard this morning, drives my dog crazy !!!

I drive a truck for a living. A few years ago one of our teams had one com THROUGH the windshield coming across the bluegrass parkway. It was still flapping and the passenger opened the door and the driver kicked it out. They were actually threatened with having to pay to clean the trailer because they put the turkey in the freezer after it died.
