i have 69 351 w only has about 135 psi on compression test . does this seem low?

I have less than that on my motor...I would check all the cylinders and see if they are with in about 10% of each other...alot of things will affect CR like cams and how they are installed. You could do a leak down test to see what kind of shape the motor really is in.

there is no more than 5 psi variance between cylinders. dont know what cam i just got the car 2 weeks ago.the previous owner doesnt know about the engine either.

Ditto. 100 lbs and up is ok as long as they are within 10% of each other

135 is healthy as long as they are all close to each other
