Hey guys, I'm looking into getting either a whipple, saleen, or procharger for my 07 gt and I'm trying to find someone in the area who has either of these who could take me for a spin so i can decide which one I should get. I've never been in a supercharged stang, so I'd hate to decide before riding in one of these. Thanks,
Tony

I have a Procharger in my 06 Mustang GT. It is very healthy. 474 rwhp.
I however live in the South end of Dayton.

How long have you had the procharger and how do you like it so far? I wouldn't mind coming up that way some day if you ever have time. I've been trying to make a decision for about a month, and i figure it would help to ride in one before i drop my life savings :)

I watched rscoupe on here tune a 100% stock 2007 GT 5 speed manual with just a Ford Racing/Whipple HO kit up at Dayton Performance. It made 469rwhp and 450rwtq. I didn't ride in the car myself but I heard it pulls like a raped ape! The guy was from down in the Cincy area. Not sure if he is on any boards or not.

I was there as well and it was insane the amount of power that thing made with just a supercharger.

Thats what I keep hearing about the whipple. I really need to ride in one before i make my decision. Its between procharger d1sc, whipple h.o., and saleen. If I got the saleen I would make the trip to brenspeed to have them install and tune it, otherwise I'm going to give the install a shot on my own.

I will ask the customer if he minds giving you a ride in his. He is bringing it back up for a beefier clutch and some exhaust mods. I can post up when I get all the parts in for it and he makes his appointment if you like. I have tuned whipples, prochargers and Kenne-Bells. If I have my vert here you can ride in a 5 liter D1SC if you like just to hear the blower and see how the boost comes in.

Looks great. How do you like it so far? Any problems? I'm still torn between the twin screws and the procharger. I was dead set on a whipple until I got quoted a ridiculous price for the install, now im not sure. I'd love to take a look at yours if you're ever out and have a few minutes.

If Mark doesn't mind, we can give you a spin in it. I would PM him and ask. We are a FRPP Distributor. We can do some great deals on Whipple packages.

One more thing. There are a few small changes to the Whipple kit that have to be made. If you install it as delivered you will be leaving some power on the table as well as some safety. We make these mods to every kit we install.

I have only had it for a few months. I agree with 05yellowgt that mine too runs like a raped ape. It was a bit scary the first few times that I drove it. It feels fine now just a HUGE change from my other 06 GT.

I'd be happy to provide a demo but it has to be a DRY day. I have DOT slicks on the back and it doesn't like water on the road. I don't like wiping the car off that well either

Yes, whipple, Kenne-Bell, procharger, Paxton, and Vortech. His clutch should be in this week, so I will talk with him then.

I havent been able to get a ride in a whippled or procharged car yet, so I'm still on the fence.
