I'm so pissed off I can barely even see straight.

A client we've been dealing with on a $4000 shower enclosure has been being kinda a pain in the ass. The guy doesn't show up for appointments, never returns calls, and then btiches about everything and then complains when things aren't done when he wants them.

Today, my father went to meet with him at his office. He was angry because we hadn't ordered handles for the shower (the handles take one day to get, the glass won't be in for a week) and he wanted to see them. After taking so much verbal abuse my father said, "Hey, I've been on this since the beginning and you've been the one dragging your feet. I'm getting kinda tired of you talking to me like I'm some kinda jerk."

The guy then leaps up from his desk and attacks my father! He pinned him against the wall and choked him until he almost passed out. He finally got loose but the guy still wouldn't let him leave. All the while, the guy screaming obsenities and threatening my father. Finally, he was able to get to his truck and come back. He escaped serious injury, but was bruised and sore. He's 64 in June and his health isn't that great anymore. I just can't imagine why people think they can get away with this shit.

You know... my dad is one of the greatest guys in the world. All my life, people have "adopted" my father as their own. When I was growing up, we always had someone living with us that he was helping out. He was always hiring people just because they needed a job. His dad died when he was 10 and he supported the entire family by himself when he was 15. I just can't believe this guy would do some shit like that to him.

One thing I found amazing was when we were at the prosecuters office. My father gets really nervous about anything to do with courts etc. He was asking the prosecuter about court etc. The guys said, "In the courtroom, it'll be your word against his but I for one believe you for one simple reason." He then explained that my father was the 5th or 6th person he'd interviewed already about other similar incidents about this guy.

I guess I just don't understand, if that's true, why the hell the guy isn't already in jail.

In the last several days, I've heard more stories about this guy than you could imagine. Evidently he was arrested as a teenager for making a bomb he intended to blow up Dixie Heights HS with. He actually had the dynomite. From another people I heard that a few weeks ago he got pissed at some guy and slammed his car door on the guys leg, breaking it. Ran into a tow truck driver today that said the first time he met Greg was when he was 12 years old. Said Greg was trying to bully he and his friends out of their clubhouse. FFS this guy has been doing this his whole damn life.

In KY they would serve him with a summons, or issue a warrant. They actually asked us which we prefer. We preferred a warrant for the simple reason that when he bonded out there would be a condition of no contact and he'd have to turn in any firearms.

That sounds kinda "fishy". Sounds like there may be something to him being in "tight" with some officers in the PD. Cops are enforcement officers, not legal advisors, and it pisses me off when they try to manipulate what you have the legal right to do.
