1988 Mustang Lx convert 5.0 AOD

Hate to do this as I have quickly taken a likeing to driving with the top down BUT I found a car I have wanted for a while and gotta have.

This is Ryan218's car so you can read his old threads and see what is up.
I bought the car hit in the drivers head light. It was not hurt bad at all. I replaced the fender bumper, bumper cover (OE 93 cobra) bumper support and all 6 headlights (kit). I used no shims to align it and it is aligned. the orig. hood is still on it but I have a replacement for it (Driver's front corner is bent a tad (very fixable if you want but it comes with a hood if not)).

Since buying the car I have done the following
Pa performance valve body (awsome part buy the way)
Fluid and filter change and filled with amsoil ATF
New FMS 4:10 gears
Rebuilt the diff with the upgrade carbon fiber clutches and better S spring
Refill diff with Royal purple
Replaced valve cover gskts and replaced all old vac lines on or around intake as well as heater hoses.
Installed adjustable fuel reg (for future mods set at stock ATM )
Msd cap and rotor and Roush wires and new plugs
Eliminated smog pump system, running short belt but left ac on. Ac needs a new line and charged)
165 degree thermostat

Also have a set of tublar lower control arms yet to be installed.

Car is in flat black as we speak. It runs real good but needs paint. It also come with a set of convertable seats I bought to recover in black to finish the coverting to black interior Ryan started.



Oh and incase you don't see it in his old posts it has a new Jasper trans ans a new black top as well.

Also I have talked to ryan and he passed on buying it back and gave ok to sell it.
Cliffs: Car is not perfect and needs time spent fixing alot of little things that I have not got to yet BUT it runs real good and is fun as hell to drive.

there are MANY pic in all of ryans posts. the only things changed are the nose (that you now have a pic of and it is all black instead of gray

No he was correct I just lowered it to the bare min I must have to pay for the car and nothing else. This is also a loss for me as I have more in upgrades and fixing the nose than this. Also I do know how to post pics for those links but for the people who are interested in reading what ryan did to the car in addition to what I told you I did the links give them more than those pic do.

Look here is the deal any other day of the week I whould never sell it for this price, but I found what I belive to be a great deal on a car I have wanted for some time. So given the choise between this and what I am buying this has to go. Is this car a show car NO will it ever be? Most likely not. But does this car run like a top (feels like a high 13 car now) Yes. Does it have a 500 dollar new top as well as a new Jasper trans with a 200 dollars valve body Yes. It also has NEW FMA 4:10's and the diff is upgraded as well. It also come with a complete set of Gt convert (yes they are convert ) seats to recover in what ever color you want. I also have a OR h-pipe and new magna flow cat back avail as well for 500 more I just did not install it becouse it whould raise the price and the OR h-pipe and flowmaster are in good shape I just wanted polished tail pipes in 2 1/2 instead on 2 1/4

i paid 1,600 when i first bought it over a year ago...it has had about 2,000 worth of parts on my end put into the car. not to mention so many hours of my time. the car is worth it for what he is asking.
