Does any other cars use the same fan clutch as a Mustang? I wanted to ask before I went to the junk yard.

Buy an electric fan.Worth the money.I got rid of both of my clutch fans.My car doesnt see over 200,even in the warm days.

I was looking into buying one but they say you should buy a 130 amp ALT also.

I ran a stock alternator on my coupe for about 2 years with the electric fan on there.I just use a switch under the dash and flip it on when i want it on.I just did a 3g alternator about 3 weeks ago.You dont HAVE to,its just recommended that you do.And a 3g alt will run you about 130-150.And the install is easy as hell.

Sweet.Good man.Let me know if you have alternator problems.I dont think you will.But if you have the cash just pick up an alt from a 95 at AZ or Orielly's or something and your all good to go.
