No, my junk isn't ready for any racing. Certainly not with the fast guys, LOL.

Maybe Tim could use a crew member!

What are all the rules for racing in the 6.5 class. I need to know if that's something I could put my car in before I spend the time and money trying to go. What all safety BS will I have to have??

Here is a link to the rules page: http://www.outlawstreetmadness.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=16&Itemid=27

We follow the NHRA safety rules. Basically you need to have the safety gear that your cars time dictates. For 7.50 you do not need a roll cage, but for 6.50 i think it is at least a 6 point. Helmet and seatbelts a must! Check the NHRA website, or im sure someone has an NHRA rule book you can take a look at. But other than that there really arent many rules for the index classes. Unlimited power adder, no limit on tires. Stock appearing and door cars only. Those are the basics, but make sure to check the link for a complete list of rules :)
